The total renovation of a duplex apartment from the 1970s was implemented jointly with architects Max Müller. The existing substance has been humorously and cunningly adapted. The gaps of a spiral staircase have been filled with additional rods to create a distinct body. The dormers are now painted in a contrasting colour to the roof slope and the rustic wood elements in the gallery balustrade have been replaced with solid white objects. The balustrade elements can be used as a storage space. The privacy of the upper floor is emphasised by a carpet. In the bathrooms, mirrors are used to highlight the geometry of the existing space.
