How do you give a 1960s office building a contemporary and modern makeover without any structural modifications? For the headquarters of Pro Infirmis, the umbrella organisation of Swiss charities for people with disabilities, the main purpose of design is to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. A large-scale mural spanning over all four levels of the staircase now sets a cheerful mood. The ceilings have been painted in signature colours for each floor. In the cafeteria, acoustic elements add a decorative touch in addition to the new, multi-coloured tables. The lighting has been adapted to the latest standard.
